Did you know that only 5% of babies will be born on their due date!!!
Your due date is only a rough estimate of when your baby is likely to be born. Pregnancy normally lasts from 37 weeks to 42 weeks from the first day of your last period.
Your baby is classified as “term” when he or she reaches 37 weeks of pregnancy.
Therefore it may be helpful to think of your baby’s arrival being likely to happen somewhere between 37 to 42 weeks of your pregnancy.
