Anne and Madou are two London-based midwives with a passion for anything midwifery related. Their background expands to all areas of maternity care including pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period, in both hospital and home settings. They truly believe in the magic of birth and their combined experiences have led to the creation of Midwife On Tap where they can share their dedication to truly excellent postnatal care.
"Madou and Anne are absolutely amazing and I so appreciate the support you showed me. What a dream team you two are!" -Simone
Midwife on Tap was founded following years of in-depth conversations with women and their families. Through our interactions, it became increasingly clear that the first few weeks of becoming parents are amazing but can also be a minefield of sleepless nights, anxiety, information overload and conflicting advice.
We believe that great postnatal care and support can really transform your postnatal experience and give you the confidence you need to face the joys and challenges of parenthood.
Hello, my name is Madou. I've been a midwife for many years and currently work as a caseload midwife with a specialist interest in women with complex social backgrounds and women choosing to birth their babies at home.
I have worked in all areas of maternity and I am incredibly passionate about midwifery. The power of women's bodies is simply magnificent and I am in awe with every single birth I am privileged to attend.
When I am not working, I just love being a homebody; pottering around in my garden and tending to my plant babies, knitting, painting, and surfing Reddit!
Hi, my name is Anne and I am a born and bred Glaswegian residing in London as a caseload midwife in a major NHS hospital.
I am passionate about all things midwifery and believe that knowledge is the key to empowerment.
Over the years, I have gained a wealth of experience through working in various areas of midwifery and have constantly sought to increase my scope of practice through undertaking courses in hypnobirthing and reflexology.
I am honoured and privileged to be a trusted part of a woman's journey to motherhood; empowering them and their families through education.
When I am not on call for births, my other favourite things to do are running outdoors and being the 'hostess-with-the-mostess' - entertaining friends and spending time with my large Scottish family!

"Anne was a huge support to myself and my wife during our pregnancy, the birth, as well as the first weeks after our son was born. As our family is all overseas, it was so great to have the expertise and care from Anne during a challenging period. Thanks to Anne, we did not feel like we were doing it alone. We highly recommend her services to any new parent" - Pedro
